Your indoor Wi-Fi Access P is setup with factory default settings that match the outdoor Wi-Fi broadcast settings of the Freedom Connect dome, located on the roof of your coach. Below is the procedure to access and change the Wi-Fi broadcast name of the indoor access point.
Step 1: Select and Connect
In the Wi-Fi settings of your smart device, select the Freedom Connect Wi-Fi broadcast using the credentials provided on your Quick Start Guide to connect to the Access Point.
Step 2: Access Control Panel & Login
Using your browser, Navigate to http://192.168.81.2 to access the Indoor Access Point. Login using admin as both username & password.
Step 3: Control Panel Wireless Settings
In the left side menu, select "Wireless" to access the wireless settings. In the right side panel, locate "Wireless Network Name" and replace with your desired name. Leave all other settings as already set & press save.
Note: At this point the wireless access point will change the name of SSID and your smart device will be booted off.
Step 4: Connect to NEW Broadcast Name
Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your smart and locate the NEW Wi-Fi Broadcast Name you just entered from Step 3. Connect to this Broadcast Name to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
Step 5: Setup Wireless Security
Navigate to "Wireless Security" in the left panel of the access point control panel.
- On the right side pane, select the radial button for "WPA/WPA2-Personal(recommended)"
- Leave the default settings of WPA2-PSK for Version and AES as Encryption along with Group Key Update Period as 0.
- input in your desired password into the "Wireless Password" box. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and press "save"
Note: At this point the wireless access point will add Wi-Fi security to your Wi-Fi broadcast and your smart device will be booted off.
Step 6: Reconnect Using Your New Credentials
Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your smart device and locate the Wi-Fi Broadcast Name you just used from Step 3. Connect to this Broadcast Name to reconnect with the Wi-Fi network and input the new Wireless password from Step 5.
