2026 Wayfarer: Chapter 6

Note:

OPERATING THE TELEVISION(S) ON INVERTER POWER FOR PROLONG PERIODS OF TIME WILL DRAIN THE MOTORCOACH BATTERIES.

Television

Televisions (Figure 6-1) will need to be reprogrammed each time the motorhome is moved.

The televisions are powered by 120-volt AC electricity; therefore, the motorcoach must either be plugged into with the 30 AMP shore power cord, or generator. The entertainment system is also connected into the inverter would permit the 12- volt DC power to be converted into 120-volt AC for the television(s).

Standard Cable / satellite or mobile device hookup is located on the driver’s side rear cargo compartment on prewire for a roof satellite is provided and located on the roof of the motorcoach. Consult an authorized dealer or the Owner’s Information Package included with the motorhome.

Detailed operation of the television(s) is provided in the accompanying owner’s manuals found in Tiffin Motorhomes Dealership or Tiffin motorcoach incorporated in Winfield, AL.

Radio Control

Your motorhome is equipped with a sophisticated entertainment system (Figure 6-2), which includes access to SiriusXM for subscribers. The features of your audio system are detailed below

Bluetooth Connectivity:

This enables wireless pairing of your devices, such as smartphones or tablets, to the motorhome's entertainment system. You can stream music, take hands-free phone calls, or even use navigation audio through the vehicle's speakers.

Digital Media MP3 Player:

This component allows you to play MP3 files, which are a common digital audio format. It supports playback from sources like USB drives, SD cards, or connected devices, offering flexibility in your music choices.

USB Port:

The USB port serves multiple purposes. You can use it to connect devices like a flash drive for playing audio files or to charge your mobile devices while traveling.

AM/FM Radio: A traditional feature that provides access to a wide range of radio stations for news, music, or talk shows. It's handy for staying informed or entertained on the go.

NOAA Weather Band Tuner: This feature gives you access to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather broadcasts. It provides real-time weather updates, warnings, and alerts, which are particularly helpful during travel.

RDS Tuner (Radio Data System): The RDS tuner displays additional information transmitted by FM radio stations, such as the station's name, song title, artist, or traffic updates. It's a convenient way to get more from your radio experience.

Switchable US and EU Tuner Frequencies: This capability ensures that your motorhome's radio system can work seamlessly in both the United States and Europe, where broadcasting standards differ. This is ideal if you're planning to travel internationally.
