🔁 Resetting the Spyder Multiplex Panel
Option 1: Soft Reset (Preferred First Step)
- Locate the main touchscreen (typically mid-coach or entryway).
- Hold your finger on the screen for 10–15 seconds.
- The screen may go black and then restart.
- If nothing happens, move to the next option.
Option 2: Power Cycle the System
Turn off the house 12V power:
- Use the battery disconnect switch, or
- Pull the main house fuse temporarily (if accessible).
- Wait 60–90 seconds.
- This allows the system to fully discharge and reset.
- Restore 12V power.
- The multiplex should reboot, re-establish communication with switch panels, and regain lighting control.
Option 3: Reset from Spyder Control Module
- Locate the Spyder network control module (usually in a cabinet, behind a panel, or in a bay).
- Look for a reset button (some have a small pinhole reset—use a paperclip).
- Press and hold for a few seconds until lights flicker or panel restarts.
⚠️ If It Still Doesn’t Work
- Check for blown fuses on the 12V system.
- Inspect Spyder touch panels for damage or signs of moisture.
