Why is my Aqua-Hot system not providing hot water?

1. Verify that the motor home is either plugged into shore power or that the generator is running to provide AC power.

2. Verify that both the “Electric Heating Element Status” and the “Heating Status” indicator lights on the electronic controller are illuminated. If the “Electric Heating Element Status” indicator light on the electronic controller is not illuminated, complete the following troubleshooting steps:

3. Check the fuse or circuit breaker for the electric heating element circuit. Replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary.

4. Inspect the electric heating element contacts and terminals in the Aqua-Hot for corrosion, damage, or loose connections. Clean, repair, or tighten as needed.

5. Check for errors or fault codes stored in the Aqua-Hot electronic controller memory. Refer to the owner’s manual for how to check for and clear error codes.

6. Verify the functionality of the Aqua-Hot temperature and pressure relief valve. Replace if sticking or not operating correctly.

7. Check antifreeze level and specific gravity in the Aqua-Hot boiler tank. Add premixed antifreeze if low.

8. Contact a certified Aqua-Hot service technician if the problem persists after checking these items.
