Why does one of my roof A/C units shut off after only a few minutes and fail to cool the coach?

1. Check that the heat pump is not activated. The heat pump will override cooling if engaged.

2. Ensure the external temperature is above 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Below this temperature, the gas furnace will automatically engage instead of the heat pump.

3. Verify the snowflake icon on the thermostat is gray and not changing, indicating the compressor is running.

4. Check that the fan speed is set to "Hi" or "Low" rather than "Auto". In auto mode, the fan will shut off after the compressor.
